Longgang District Key Laboratory of Intelligent Bio-Optoelectronics and Brain Disease Theranostics focuses on intelligent bio-optoelectronics and theranostics for brain diseases, addressing critical needs in disorders such as depression, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and brain tumors. We conduct an end-to-end research pipeline spanning key devices, imaging and neural interfaces, intelligent diagnosis, precision therapy, and translational applications, building an innovation platform that integrates basic research, technological breakthroughs, and clinical collaboration.
Major Research Areas:
1. Intelligent bio-optoelectronic devices and sensing: micro/nano optoelectronic devices, biocompatible materials, wearable/implantable sensing.
2. Intelligent diagnosis of brain diseases: integration of multimodal imaging, electrophysiology, and omics data; AI-assisted diagnosis and prognostic assessment.
3. Theranostic systems: noninvasive neuromodulation technologies, intraoperative navigation and efficacy monitoring, clinical translation and standardization/validation.
